About

Career Radar

This is my tool for comparing IT roles. It holds my own ranking of 63 roles and sets it against data from job ads. It helps me decide which way to grow, and it also shows how I build and run projects like this.

Where the data come from

  • Estimate Editorial ranking (August 2026). These are my estimates and predictions, not market measurements.
  • From job ads SOLID.Jobs public API, as of 30/10/2026. The API is offered for exactly this kind of use.
  • Job-board reports will be added by hand, always with the report name, period and a link.
  • I do not scrape job boards whose terms forbid it. Other sources will be added only with their owners' consent.

The calculation details are on the page Methodology and sources.

Code and repository

The project has its own career-radar repository in Azure DevOps, with a private copy on GitHub. It is independent of my portfolio and has its own pipelines, secrets and Worker. Every change goes through a pull request, tests and build verification.

The code is not public for now.

Privacy

The site sets no cookies of its own and has no analytics. Slider, filter and theme settings stay in your browser and never reach me. Cloudflare serves the traffic and processes technical connection data, such as the IP address, to deliver and protect the site, and may use necessary security cookies.

Details are in the privacy notice on piwowarpawel.com.
